C'est donc en 1863 que le père Tasse, accompagné de sa femme et de ses deux garçons, prit possession de Roche-Béranger. Ainsi que le relate l'auteur, le chalet était entièrement à construire. Et tout ne fut pas facile, ainsi lorsque la toiture laissait passer la pluie ! Ce qui obligeait les touristes à dormir avec le parapluie ouvert, les nuits d'averse.

Dans ce 4ème chapitre, prenez connaissance des débuts difficiles du père Tasse lorsqu'il lui fallait emprunter les mauvais sentiers pour s'approvisionner dans la vallée.
